February 3rd will be a date that we will never forget. It was the first of six memorable days which we shared at the Llwygy with three members of the Insect Tribe of Papua New Guinea - Chief Joseph ,Samuel the village Mudman and his wife Christina. They were here to film a documentary series made by Tigress productions for Channel Five.

The tribe live 12 hours by canoe up the Sepic river in the village of Swagap in the heart of the equatorial rainforest of Papua New Guinea. They are hunter gatherers who hunt wild boar and crocodiles. We were as much intrigued with their way of life as they were with ours. A wonderful time was shared by all.
